What is OriLiv-N?

OriLiv-N contains the nymphal stage of Orius insidiosus, mixed with buckwheat hulls. Since the nymphs do not yet have wings, they cannot fly, making them particularly useful in certain IPM strategies where stationary predation is beneficial.

Orius insidiosus is best known for its ability to suppress thrips, being one of the only commercially available predators that can feed on all mobile stages of thrips. As a generalist predator, it also targets a variety of soft-bodied pests, including aphids, mealybugs, spider mites, and soft scales. When prey is scarce, Orius can sustain itself on pollen.

Orders are only shipped Monday through Wednesday. Any orders placed past 10am on Wednesday through Sunday will be shipped the following Monday.
