What is EncaLiv?
Encarsia formosa, a tiny beneficial insect, is extensively employed in organic farming to counteract whitefly outbreaks, especially in tomato, cucumber, and pepper plantations. As an endoparasitoid, Encarsia formosa deposits its eggs within the eggs or larvae of whiteflies, and its larvae consume the internal parts of the host, leading to its demise.
