CucuLiv - Neoseiulus cucumeris
An economical predatory mite ideal for preventative thrips control, especially against Western Flower Thrips (WFT). N.cucumeris targets the immature stages and can eliminate up to 30 young thrip larvae in its lifetime.

Best used in spring and early summer when temperatures are cooler. For late summer, we recommend switching to Swirskii for continued thrips prevention.

Available Sachet Options:

  • Mini – 125 mites per sachet

  • Breeding – 250 mites per sachet

  • Breeding Plus – 1000 mites per sachet

Each sachet includes a food source and carrier for extended release

Not as effective as they were before

I've ordered these a few times and normally have great success with them. Immediately after hanging the sachets, within a few hours I would see mites crawling everywhere over the plant, but the last 2 times I have ordered I have not seen this. It feels like there are significantly less mites in here than there were previously, for whatever reason. Most of my plants had 2 sachets each and I still cannot really see any mites but lots of immature thrips. I'd probably recommend going for the bulk mites for better success. Unfortunately I'll probably have to order something again, as this order did not seem to work out well, despite the large volume ordered.

So many bugs!

These sachets are packed full with bugs! You can literally see the package moving around if you open one up. Extremely satisfied with the product and the very quick shipping. Well packaged. Will be ordering more as needed and looking forward to no more thrips. Being pregnant, I cannot use pesticides, so this is perfect!!
